Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all vehicle relocation services provided by KENI Vehicle Relocations, trading as KENI DriveAway (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking our services, you (“the customer”) agree to these Terms.
2. Services Provided

We provide driveaway relocations, meaning we personally drive the vehicle from the pickup location to the delivery destination.

We do not provide towing or loading onto transport trucks unless specifically arranged.

Services are available for registered and unregistered vehicles (unregistered vehicles must have a valid UVP and CTP cover arranged by the customer).
3. Customer Responsibilities

Ensure the vehicle is in a safe and roadworthy condition (functional brakes, steering, tyres, lights).

Provide accurate pickup and delivery information.

Remove all personal belongings; any items left in the vehicle are at the customer’s own risk.

Provide proof of insurance (comprehensive or as required for unregistered vehicles).
4. Payment Terms

Full payment (or deposit + fuel float) is required before pickup, as per agreed quote.

Fuel floats (if applicable) are reconciled after delivery with receipts provided.

Additional costs (flights, transfers, accommodation) are included in the quote unless otherwise stated.
5. Cancellations & Booking Changes
-
Changes to dates, routes, or vehicle details may incur additional charges.

Cancellations before relocation: non‑refundable admin fee of $250 retained.

Cancellations after relocation has commenced: charges calculated for distance travelled and services provided up to that point; remaining balance refunded.

Fuel float refunds are processed separately.
6. Mechanical Breakdowns

We are not responsible for mechanical failures occurring during relocation.

Repairs and related costs are the responsibility of the vehicle owner.

If breakdown prevents completion, charges apply for distance travelled; unused balance refunded.
7. Driving Hours & Compliance

All heavy vehicle relocations comply with NHVR fatigue management rules:

Maximum 12 hours driving in 24 hours

30‑minute break every 5 hours
-
Minimum 7‑hour continuous rest before next driving period

All relocations comply with Australian road laws.
8. Liability
-
Our liability is limited to the cost of the relocation service provided.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income or reduced resale value.

We are not responsible for pre‑existing damage or mechanical issues.

Customers must maintain their own comprehensive insurance coverage during relocation.
9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to complete relocation due to circumstances beyond our control, including weather, road closures, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
10. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle personal information in accordance with Australian privacy laws.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Disputes will first be addressed through negotiation, then mediation or arbitration if required.

By booking with us, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
